The Talismans of Shannara Character List

This does contain some spoilers, like who dies, so be prepared! And EVERYONE that had a name, including horses and whatnot, are listed here.

The list for order of appearance has only the characters that had an physical part in the story, not the people that were mentioned only in passing (such as Mirianna Ohmsford - Par and Coll's mother). The one that has the characters organized in alphabetical order has all of them.

Order of Appearance | Alphabetical Order

Allanon: a shade who was once a Druid; he appeared to Walker in his dreams and revealed a little more of what was unknown.
Alleyne Elessedil: Wren's mother; she died while trying to return to Morrowindl after Wren was born.
Amberle Elessedil: she took the Ellcrys' seed to the Bloodfire and became the new Ellcrys.
Asra: the name used by Damson while trying to get into Tyrsis.
Auntie Jilt: a Dwarf who was betrayed by Teel and later saved by Morgan.
Aurin Striate: an Elf who died on Morrowindl while defending Ellenroh.
Axhind: the Troll Maturen of the Kelktic Rock, he and his Rock Trolls aid the Free-born in their struggle.
Barsimmon Oridio: the general of the Elven army.
Brin Ohmsford: the first Ohmsford to possess the wishsong, she could change reality. Allanon gave her a blood trust before his death.
Brona: a rogue Druid who attempted to conquer the Four Lands multiple times, he was finally defeated by Shea Ohmsford.
Chalt: one of the Mole's "children", he is a stuffed bear.
Chandos: second-in-command after Padishar Creel, he is a fellow Free-born.
Cogline: a once-Druid, he gave up his life to save Walker's by using his black powder on Death and suffering the effects.
Coll Ohmsford: Par's brother, he was in the thrall of the Mirrorshroud before Par set him free. He later went to Southwatch with Walker to set Par free and used the Sword of Shannara on Par. When everything was over, he, Par, and Damson went to Callahorn to open an inn.
Criape: the name used by Morgan while trying to get into Tyrsis.
Damson Rhee: Par's lover and Padishar's daughter, she and Matty rescued Coll from the slavers, Padishar from the Federation, and went with Walker into Southwatch to help free Par and the magic. When everything was over, she, Par, and Coll went to Callahorn to open an inn.
Death: a Shadowen posing as one of the Four Horsemen and sent to Paranor to keep Walker trapped inside, it was destroyed by the magics of Walker Boh and Cogline's black powder.
Desidio: commander of the Elven vanguard and battle strategist, he was injured in battle and had to be taken back to Arborlon.
Ebben Cruenal: an Elf who took over Desidio's command after Desidio was injured in battle.
Ellenroh Elessedil: the queen of the Elves and Wren's grandmother. She named Wren queen shortly before she died.
Eowen Cerise: a seer who died on Morrowindl.
Erring Rift: the leader of the Wing Riders, he and his Roc were killed by Tib Arne and Gloon; his Roc's name is Grayl.
Eton Shart: the Elven First Minister, he does not accept Wren as Queen of the Elves and is her biggest hurdle.
Eventine Elessedil: one of the great Elven Kings from the time of Wil Ohmsford.
Everlind: one of the Mole's "children", she is a stuffed velvet rabbit.
Famine: a Shadowen posing as one of the Four Horsemen and sent to Paranor to keep Walker trapped inside, it wasdestroyed by the magics of Pestilence and War.
Faun: a Tree Squeak come out of Morrowindl, she went with Wren everywhere and was killed while protecting Wren from the Shadowen. A Seeker stepped on her.
Flick Ohmsford: Shea's brother, he helped him to defeat Brona.
Fruaren Laurel: the Elven Minister of Healing.
Galaphile: the first Druid.
Garth: Wren's companion and mentor, he died on Morrowindl.
Gavilan Elessedil: the nephew of Ellenroh and Wren's cousin, he was killed on Morrowindl.
Gloon: a war shrike that was really a Shadowen, it belonged to Tib Arne and could grow or shrink in size. Wren's magic and Spirit killed it later.
Granny Elise: a Dwarf who was betrayed by Teel and later saved by Morgan.
Grimpond: a shade that is trapped in a pond near Hearthstone.
Hirehone: master of Kiltan Forge, he was inhabited by Teel, then killed.
Horner Dees: an old Tracker, he showed Walker the way to Eldwist.
Jair Ohmsford: he started the tradition of telling the stories using the wishsong.
Jalen Ruhl: the Elven Minister of Home Defense.
Jaralan Ohmsford: Par and Coll's father.
Kimber Boh: she helped Brin in her quest to destroy the Ildatch and is an ancestor of Walker's.
King of the Silver River: living since the time of Faerie, he appears to Par and Coll and took the latter away to safety along with the Sword of Shannara.
Lida: one of the Mole's "children".
Matty Roh: the manager of a tavern in Varfleet, she joins up with Morgan to rescue Padishar, Coll, and Par from the Federation, slavers, and Shadowen. When everything was over, she went with Morgan to the Eastland to aid in the Dwarf Resistance.
Maw Grint: Uhl Belk's son, it disintegrated after Quickening returned Eldwist to normal.
Mirianna Ohmsford: Par and Coll's mother.
Mole: a furry creature that lives in the tunnels of Tyrsis and keeps the trash of the upper world in his lair, he aided in Padishar and Damson's rescues.
Morgan Leah: the wielder of the Sword of Leah, he rescues Padishar from the Federation and Par and Wren from the Shadowen. When everything was over, he went with Matty Roh to the Eastland to aid in the Dwarf Resistance.
Padishar Creel: leader of the Free-born and the Movement, he finds Par in Tyrsis and joins his forces with the Elves in the battle against the Federation.
Par Ohmsford: a Valeman who has the magic of the wishsong of illusion as well as some innate Elfstone magic, he has possession of the Sword of Shannara. He freed Coll from the thrall of the Mirrorshroud. When everything was over, he, Coll, and Damson went to Callahorn to open an inn.
Pe Ell: an assassin and the wielder of the Stiehl, he was killed in Eldwist.
Perek Arundel: the Elven Minister of Trade.
Pestilence: a Shadowen posing as one of the Four Horsemen and sent to Paranor to keep Walker trapped inside, itwas destroyed by the magics of Famine and Walker Boh.
Quickening: the elemental daughter of the King of the Silver River, she helped in retrieving the Black Elfstone and gave her life to restore Eldwist.
Rimmer Dall: the First Seeker and a Shadowen, he captured Par and tried to enter his body, but failed. Later, the magic imprisoned at Southwatch destroyed him.
Rone Leah: he helped Brin in her quest to destroy the Ildatch.
Rumor: Walker Boh's giant moor cat; he goes with Walker to Southwatch and fought against the Shadowen.
Sennepon Kipp: a Free-born sent by Chandos to contact the Elves; he was killed by Tib Arne.
Shea Ohmsford: the wielder of the Sword of Shannara who finally defeated Brona.
Steff: Morgan's friend; he was killed at the Jut by Teel.
Stresa: a Splinterscat come out of Morrowindl, he showed Wren and Triss the way through the Matted Breaks so that they could destroy the Creepers.
Teel: a Shadowen spy, she killed Steff before Morgan killed her with the broken Sword of Leah.
Tib Arne: a little boy who was really a Shadowen, he was an untrue friend and tried to kidnap Wren to send her to Southwatch. The Elfstones' magic later killed him.
Tiger Ty: commander of the Wing Riders after the death of Erring Rift, he aided Wren in the Federation battles and the Creeper destruction. He and his Roc fought against Tib Arne and Gloon to save Wren and survived; his Roc's name is Spirit.
Triss: Captain of the Home Guard and Wren's protector, he helped lure the Creepers into the Matted Brakes and executed attacks against the Federation army.
Uhl Belk: he ruled over Eldwist before Quickening returned it back to normal.
Ulfkingroh: a Shadowen who trained and fought with Coll while he was imprisoned in Southwatch.
Walker Boh: known as the Dark Uncle and the first of the new Druids, he releases Par and the magic from Southwatch. Walker also destroyed the Four Horsemen while trapped at Paranor. After destroying the Shadowen, he returned to Paranor to use the Druid Sleep.
War: a Shadowen posing as one of the Four Horsemen and sent to Paranor to keep Walker trapped inside, it was destroyed by the magics of Pestilence and Walker Boh.
Westra: one of the Mole's "children".
Wil Ohmsford: he protected Amberle during the quest for the Bloodfire.
Wintath: the name used by Matty while trying to get into Tyrsis.
Wisteron: one of the more powerful Shadowen from Morrowindl.
Word: the creator of life in the Four Lands.
Wren Elessedil: Queen of the Elves, she destroyed the Creepers at the Matted Brakes as well as Gloon and Tib Arne. Wren led the battle against the Federation until the magic of Southwatch was set free. After the destruction of the Shadowen, she remained the queen of the Elves and dedicated her life to healing the Four Lands.
